NJ Trees for Free

The power to make our communities healthier and greener is in our hands and it is FREE. To meet the needs of a virtually treeless block after Hurricane Sandy, in 2017 we coordinated with the NJ Tree Foundation to plant 17 trees on Eastern Parkway in Newark New Jersey. If you are interested learning how to do the same visit www.njtrees.org  Then in the Fall of 2025 we planted ten more trees on my block and got support for maintenance and upkeep. Ornamental trees do flower and bear fruit (some of the fruit is year round and do not fall from the tree) , while the shade trees do not. For more info contact the NJ Tree Foundation.
